Five Hermantown High School seniors will be part of a radio show on Wednesday, May 21, from 6-9 p.m. on WKLK Radio (96.5 FM) in Cloquet.
The students will take over the station and dedicate the three-hour program to the graduating class.
Students participating are Sarah Berg, Chelsey Hausch, Tim Crossmon, Elliot Carlson and Danica Lowry.
The Hermantown High School production of Guys and Dolls opens Thursday at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Ken Ahlberg and Teresa Taraldsen are the directors. There are 80 students involved in the musical, including 56 on stage. Sunday’s matinee is the only show which is not currently sold out. Call the high school at 729-8874 to check on availability.

Grace Lutheran Church invites the public to enjoy an all-you-can-eat Fish Fry, to be held Friday, March 3rd and again on March 31st. Dinners are served in the Community Room from 5:00 until 8:00 pm and carry-out is also available. The menu includes hand breaded Alaskan Snow Cod, baked potato, cole slaw, roll, beverage, and dessert. Tickets are available in advance $8 adults, $5 for children under 12, and free for children 3. Hermantown Youth Soccer Association will be holding registration for upper division players (ages 10-18) on Monday, Feb. 27 and Wednesday, March 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hermantown Middle School lobby.
Hermantown summer softball registration will be Monday, March 6 and Thursday, March 9 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Hermantown Middle School lobby.
